Dear Pastor ______:

Over the past several years the Lord has been giving me a message for His Church. About a year ago He told me to warn the pastors. Since the message is extremely important, I am sending it to you. If you would like to speak with me or know more please call. The message has three parts.

First - There is no Pre-Tribulation Rapture.

Below, Paul describes the Resurrection and Rapture of the Church.

According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17).

Notice, Paul states that Jesus will come down from heaven and the believers will meet Him in the air. Now read Acts 3:21.

He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets (Acts 3:21).

God does not restore everything until after the Tribulation. Therefore, the Church is caught up after the Tribulation. This is just one of the Bible’s many prophetic words that is contradicted by the Pre-Tribulation Rapture myth.

Second - Now is the time to teach what the Bible says about the Second Coming.

A couple of years ago, as I was reading through the Olivet Discourse, this passage caught my attention.

So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. "Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? (Matthew 24:44-45)

As I read the words “at the proper time,” I heard in my mind’s ear an emphatic – NOW!  As I considered the meaning of NOW, I asked the Lord, are you saying you’re coming soon? His answer was also emphatic – "NO, Now is the time to teach what Scripture says about My return, because your children and their children will need to know."

Finally – It’s critical we understand Christ’s commands regarding the Second Coming.

After asking the Lord for months about the importance of His teachings on the Second Coming, He awoke me one morning from a sound sleep and told me to pray for a class I was teaching. As I prayed, He gave me this:

They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God's coming to you (Luke 19:44)

From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked (Luke 12:48).

As He gave me the first verse, the word “because” burned in my mind. When I received the second verse, I understood the answer to my question. The first verse takes place at the time of the First Coming of Christ. As Christ entered Jerusalem, He told the religious leaders that because they did not recognize the time of His First Coming, Jerusalem and the Temple were going to be destroyed. This happened in 70 AD and 1,100,000 people were killed (men, women and children).

While Jesus commanded Israel to know the time of His First Coming, He requires much more from His Church regarding His Second Coming, and the Word of God repeatedly tells us we must know and understand this. If the Christian Church does not wake up and keep watch, what do you think a righteous God will do?

In the grace and peace of Christ Jesus,

Richard Perry
