"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?" (Matthew 24:42-45)
From Prophecy Conferences
In October 2003, the Hebron Christian Church of Winder, Georgia hosted Dr. David Reagan of the Lion and Lamb Ministries for a Prophecy Conference. During the conference I questioned Dr. Reagan about the Pre-Trib Rapture theory. This is a transcript of our exchange about the Rapture at the Last Trumpet.
In December 2001 I had the opportunity to question and debate Dr. Thomas Ice on the timing of the rapture. Dr. Ice is the Executive Director of the Pre-Trib Research Center in Washington, DC, an organization founded by Tim LaHaye. He was hosted by Calvary Chapel of Athens, Georgia to conduct a Bible Prophecy Conference. Below is a transcript of the exchange between Dr. Thomas Ice (Pre-Trib position) and Richard Perry (Post-Trib position).
The Lord has clearly indicated in Scripture that it is important for the people of God "know and understand" about His Second Coming. To understand just how important, click below:
The purpose of this website is to proclaim the truth regarding the doctrine of the Second Coming. For God says to "Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers" (1 Timothy 4:16) and "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31, 32). Therefore, we must strive for the truth as revealed in Scripture and resist all other teachings. All who consider the information on this website should examine the Scripture for themselves to determine if what is presented here is true.
Understand the greatest event of the Gospel -
Some will ask, "How can I understand what the Bible says regarding the return of Christ? Smarter people than I have studied the Bible and yet they do not all agree. " To that God says, "For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand" (2 Corinthians 1:13). God has actually shown us how to understand what He means by telling us how to interpret His Word. To see what He says, click Correctly Handling the Word of Truth
Once we know how to interpret Scripture, we should read what Jesus says about His return. Just days before Jesus Christ gave His life for our sin on the cross at Calvary, the disciples posed this question, "Tell us, they said, ... what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age" (Matthew 24:3). Jesus' response, which is recorded in the first three Gospels, is called the Olivet Discourse. For the commentary on Jesus' response click According To The Lordís Own Word.
In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus refers us to the prophet Daniel. Specifically, He directs our attention to the "abomination that causes desolation" which is first recorded in Daniel 9:24-27. Jesus says we are to know and understand this prophecy. For the commentary click Spoken of Through the prophet Daniel. God has repeated several times in Scripture that we are to "know and understand" Daniel's 'Seventy Sevens' prophecy. The following three links represent research relating to 'Seventy Sevens' prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27.
Today, the household of God - the organized church - has been greatly influenced by a new teaching which says that Christ will come secretly to gather up His Church before the Great Tribulation. To compare today's popular teachings to Scripture click You Have Heard It Said. Then click Early Church Writings on the topic.
Some of the information on this website is from a book which the Lord told me to write. Of The Last Days: LISTEN, I TELL YOU A MYSTERY is a comprehensive biblical study of the Last Days and the return of Jesus Christ.
The reviews are in, "Best book I ever read on the topic." and "Reading this book has made me want to read the Bible." The Bible, however, is the best book on the topic!

The Bible provides all the information we need to understand many of God's prophecies. For example, He has revealed the mystery of these prophecies..
As we approach the Day of the Lord and the return of Christ, Jesus commands that we be alert to the deception that will come. In Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21, He warns us several times about the deception that will be perpetrated on His followers, especially from those claiming to be from God. See what He means.

"Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the
house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning
from me. When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,'
and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man
will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.
But if you do warn the wicked man to turn from his ways and he does not
do so, he will die for his sin, but you will have saved yourself"
Therefore, I declare to you today that I am
innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not hesitated to
proclaim to you the whole will of God (Acts 20:26-27).
