In October 2003, the Hebron Christian Church of Winder, Georgia hosted Dr. David Reagan of the Lion and Lamb Ministries for a Prophecy Conference. During the conference I questioned Dr. Reagan about the Pre-Trib Rapture theory. This is a transcript of our exchange about the Rapture at the Last Trumpet.

The time is near?

Teaching about the Second Coming, is it Spiritual Milk or Solid Food?

The purpose of this website is to proclaim the truth regarding the doctrine of the Second Coming. For God says to "Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers" (1 Timothy 4:16) and "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31, 32). Therefore, we must strive for the truth as revealed in Scripture and resist all other teachings. All who consider the information on this website should examine the Scripture for themselves to determine if what is presented here is true.

The Day of the Lord

Some will ask, "How can I understand what the Bible says regarding the return of Christ? Smarter people than I have studied the Bible and yet they do not all agree. " To that God says, "For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand" (2 Corinthians 1:13). God has actually shown us how to understand what He means by telling us how to interpret His Word. To see what He says, click Correctly Handling the Word of Truth

Once we know how to interpret Scripture, we should read what Jesus says about His return. Just days before Jesus Christ gave His life for our sin on the cross at Calvary, the disciples posed this question, "Tell us, they said, ... what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age" (Matthew 24:3). Jesus' response, which is recorded in the first three Gospels, is called the Olivet Discourse. For the commentary on Jesus' response click According To The Lord’s Own Word.

In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus refers us to the prophet Daniel. Specifically, He directs our attention to the "abomination that causes desolation" which is first recorded in Daniel 9:24-27. Jesus says we are to know and understand this prophecy. For the commentary click Spoken of Through the prophet Daniel. God has repeated several times in Scripture that we are to "know and understand" Daniel's 'Seventy Sevens' prophecy. "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.
